ROHINGYA US-Based Interpreter

As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between ROHINGYA and English speakers. The interpreter needs to be able to process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner. It is essential to ensure a quiet & secure environment. Note pads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and ROHINGYA
• Minimum 2 years interpretation experience preferred
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with permission or at the client's request
