Job summary
Village Properties seeks an experienced freelance/contract videographer to collaborate with our Marketing Team on an ongoing basis, producing elevated, social-first video content that showcases our properties, agents, neighborhoods, and our brand.
You will manage the full production process from planning to delivery, bring creative ideas to the table, and travel to on-site shoots around the Santa Barbara area while maintaining a strong eye for lighting, sound, and storytelling.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in professional videography and video production.
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, camera operation and sound.
- Experience editing with professional software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Experience creating short-form social media content (Reels, etc.).
- Real estate, architecture, hospitality, lifestyle experience is valued.
Responsibilities
- Produce professional video content for Village Properties and agents.
- Film properties, neighborhoods, and lifestyle content on-site.
- Edit and deliver polished, brand-aligned final videos.
- Manage production calendar and coordinate on-site shoots.
