Job summary

ProVest is seeking self-motivated Civil Process Servers in the Mount Carmel area to operate as independent contractors. This role offers flexible hours, autonomy, and the ability to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely service of legal documents.

Ideal candidates are organized, reliable, and comfortable using mobile apps for case management. Access to a computer, printer, and scanner is expected, and residing near Cook County is preferred.

Qualifications

• PERC card required; prior experience in process serving preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Ability to work variable hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Comfortable using mobile apps and technology for case management.
• Access to a computer, printer, and scanner.
• Residing within or near Cook County is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attempt service on assigned cases and log updates regularly.
• Activate cases within 24 hours of receiving documents.
• Make at least one weekend service attempt per file.
• Capture GPS-stamped photos and log attempts using PVLS & PSO apps.
• Complete affidavits promptly to receive payment.
