Job summary

Liberty Language Services is seeking Freelance Interpreters who are bilingual and passionate about bridging language barriers in healthcare and education. This role allows for flexible scheduling whereby interpreters can choose their own hours and workload in the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland areas.

Requirements include a valid U.S. work authorization, residency in the designated areas, and completion of a 40-hour Medical Interpreter Training Course. Starting pay is competitive at $27 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid U.S. work authorization.
• Reside in the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, or Maryland area.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation services for clients.
• Travel to various client locations as needed.
