Job summary

RevHealth is seeking a detail-oriented freelance Copy Editor to join our editorial team at a fast-paced, independent pharmaceutical marketing agency. You will support the Director of Editorial with medical editing tasks, working across projects and brand teams to ensure accuracy and clarity.

You’ll edit content with AMA style guidance, manage multiple projects, and flex your schedule to meet aggressive deadlines, including occasional work outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1.5 years’ experience editing in a health care, medical, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Developing knowledge of AMA style.
• Comfort with diverse and constantly changing client styles.
• Superb organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across a collection of brand teams.
• Fully invested team player, willing to support colleagues or brands on short notice.
• Willingness to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and facts-checked mindset.
• Interest in challenging yourself across pharmaceutical brands.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of medical editing activities for multiple projects; work with senior editorial leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Help ensure high-quality copy that is factually accurate, grammatically correct, and adheres to regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Support the editorial team to meet tight deadlines during a fast-paced, independent pharmaceutical advertising environment.
