Job summary

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking bilingual interpreters to work as freelance contractors in the United States. Appointments run Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with starting pay at $25 per hour and scheduling based on need and language demand.

As a 1099 independent contractor, you set your availability, accept appointments, and operate as your own boss while contributing to language access across medical, legal, and educational settings.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and target language with idiomatic understanding.
• Experience interpreting in medical, legal, or educational settings preferred.
• Professional, punctual, and adaptable to the workplace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or interpreting certification.
