Role Description

This is a part-time, hourly role for a Freelance Intimate Apparel Designer based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role includes creating design concepts, collaborating on fabric selections, sourcing trims, and overseeing fittings to ensure the highest quality garments. The designer will also work closely with the production team to align creative vision with manufacturing processes and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in intimate apparel design, including the ability to create innovative and inclusive intimate apparel concepts and trends.
• Knowledge of Textiles and Trims, with experience in sourcing and selecting high‑quality materials.
• Skills in Fitting and an understanding of garment construction to ensure exceptional fit and comfort.
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with production teams, and attention to detail to maintain quality control.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Fashion Design or related fields is a plus.
