Freelance Graphic Designer

Job Description

La Vida Hospitality is seeking a Freelance Graphic Designer to support our creative and marketing teams across various brands, including Crooked Hammock Brewery, Big Chill, Taco Reho, and La Vida Hospitality. This project-based, remote-flexible role involves collaborating with our Creative Director, Marketing Directors, and Brand Coordinators to maintain brand consistency and bring creative concepts to life. Must enjoy the ride!

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams on design projects
2. Create assets such as advertisements, social graphics, menus, posters, stickers, retail items, and branded materials
3. Design digital content including website graphics, email layouts, and digital ads
4. Ensure brand standards are upheld across all designs
5. Manage tasks using shared project management tools and communicate effectively about deadlines and deliverables
6. Contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives
7. Reflect the vibe, energy, and standards of our brands in every design

Qualifications

1. 3-8 years of relevant Graphic Design experience
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with willingness to learn new skills
4. Self-motivated with initiative and creative problem-solving abilities
5. Deep love for our brand and products, with a relentless pursuit of quality
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt
8. Ability to work standing or sitting for long periods
9. Flexible schedule to accommodate responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment
10. Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability
11. Hospitality-oriented with a guest-friendly demeanor
