Shootday is seeking talented event videographers in Washington, D.C. for paid freelance assignments. You will capture memorable moments at various events and deliver high-quality RAW footage; editing is handled by Shootday. This is a freelance role, paid per assignment.

Responsibilities include capturing moments, adapting to event needs, and collaborating with other videographers. Must own gear and have a strong portfolio with solid technical skills.

Qualifications

• Proven event videography experience with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent communication and professional attitude.
• Ability to adapt to various environments and events.
• Reliable transportation to event locations.
• Strong technical skills with cameras, mics, and stabilizers.

• Formal videography degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality RAW videos on time; editing is handled by Shootday.
• Cover diverse events from corporate functions to product launches and social gatherings.
• Capture key moments, candid shots, and the event ambiance.
• Adapt approach to each event’s unique needs.
• Collaborate with other videographers when needed.
• Use professional camera gear, including cameras, lenses, stabilizers (gimbals), and microphones.
• Guide participants and set up shots for best results.
• Communicate effectively with clients and Shootday team.
