Qualifications

About This Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Camera Operator to shoot high-quality digital content across social, branded, and editorial formats. You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating camera, and lighting on fast-paced shoots. The ideal Camera Operator is detail-oriented and collaborative, with a keen creative eye!

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Director of Photography and Gaffer with setting up/rigging lights.
  • Set up camera, tripods, and support gear during pre-light days
  • Operate camera for multi-cam, unscripted productions during shoot days
  • Support the DP and lighting team with gear breakdown and wrap after production

Who You Are:

  • 1-2 years of experience working with Sony cinema cameras
  • Have a solid understanding of basic grip and electric setups
  • Familiarity with aperture lighting ecosystem is a plus
  • Experience working in the unscripted, digital media landscape is a plus
  • Open to feedback, positive and fun to collaborate with, and growth-minded
  • A proactive and excellent team player who is committed to ensuring a smooth set
  • Have a reliable vehicle and are able to travel to various shoot locations across the LA area
