At hystrix medical AG, we’re transforming and redefining how hospitals and other health care institutions source medical products and how suppliers reach them.

Rooted in Switzerland, we bring transparency, speed, and simplicity and massive cost-savings to a system that desperately needs it. At the current stage our software is the Source-2-Contract platform that connects buyers (hospitals and healthcare institutions) with suppliers of medical and non-medical goods in the Swiss and Dutch healthcare sector. Now, we're expanding our footprint in the Netherlands, and we need you.

Tasks

As an independent freelance partner working on a mandate basis your role will focus on supporting our commercial team. You’ll drive both growth and retention in the Dutch market:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and healthcare buyers
  • Own the entire sales cycle, from spotting leads to closing contracts
  • Present and demonstrate our platform, answer detailed questions, and train users (hospital and supplier) to get the most out of it
  • Negotiate service agreements with head of procurement/CPO/CFO
  • Provide ongoing user support, gather feedback, and translate needs into actionable improvements of our software
  • Represent hystrix at industry events and pitch our vision with confidence
  • Collaborate closely with our Swiss HQ and attend occasional meetings in Zurich/Switzerland (frequence to be determined 4-6 times/year)
Requirements

We are looking for someone that loves to work with hospitals and is energized by closing deals. More concretely:

  • Dutch fluency is a must
  • A deep understanding of Dutch healthcare procurement and/or sales
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in healthcare procurement and/or sales and account management
  • A passion for innovation and digital tools
  • Client-focus, and a proactive attitude
  • Ideally, a strong network within the Dutch hospital procurement landscape
