Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis seeks a Freelance Audio/Visual Technician to support events. The role involves setup, operation, and troubleshooting for sound and video during services and functions, sometimes working alone and other times with a second technician.
Hours are varied with a two-hour minimum; nights and weekends are common, and monthly commitments total roughly 10–20 hours depending on event scheduling.

Audio/Visual Technicians provide occasional support for events. Events often take place at night or on the weekends. Some events and services the technician will work alone, and other times the responsibilities will be divided between two technicians—one assigned to video production and one assigned to audio production.
Varied. Two-hour minimum. Saturday availability required. Monthly estimate of 10-20 hours based on 2025 events. Hours are not guaranteed and fluctuate seasonally and based on operational needs.
Technicians will be accountable to and supervised by the Audio/Visual Coordinator, who will also provide them with systems training and work orders. Technicians will work closely with the Event Coordinator and Event Support positions.
$40-50 an hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. Training hours paid at $20/hour.
