Freelance Associate Men's Technical Designer - 155426

Join a dynamic team as a Freelance Associate Men's Technical Designer. This role involves translating design concepts into production-ready garments, collaborating with designers, pattern makers, and production teams to ensure high-quality, functional, and visually appealing collections.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Interpreting design concepts with the design team.
  2. Working closely with the Technical Design Men's team.
  3. Creating detailed technical drawings, spec sheets, and construction notes.
  4. Communicating garment specifications to overseas manufacturers.
  5. Participating in fit sessions and providing feedback on prototypes.
  6. Resolving technical issues during production through cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years in fashion design, preferably with men's private label or mass-market brands.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and production processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Salary: $35/hr+
