Job summary

oneworldglobalservices in Manhattan, NY is seeking a US-based ASL interpreter for both VRI-On Demand and Onsite assignments. You will interpret between ASL and spoken English in a variety of settings to support deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.

Candidates may hold an associate or bachelor’s degree and an interpreter certification is preferred. Strong computer skills, independent work ethic and teamwork are essential, along with professionalism and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting ASL and spoken English preferred but not required.
• Interpreter certification required or preferred.
• Understanding of deaf culture and communication service providers.
• Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email and scheduling.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities
