Free People seeks an Associate Coordinator, Production to support apparel teams across the full lifecycle from sourcing and costing to freight, customs and delivery.

Role involves vendor communication, calendar management, tracking, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to meet deadlines and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in Fashion, Retail, Product Development or a related field.
• Proficient in data analysis, data input in PLM, Excel, Qlik etc.
• Ability to work within and across cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to implement operational efficiencies.
• Ability to analyze production processes, advise on strategies and meet sample deadlines.
• Organized, detail oriented, flexible to assist on multiple projects, with a sense of urgency and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily vendor communication with global vendors, fabric mills, and agents to track production and resolve issues.
• Meet seasonal calendar milestones and maintain WIP reports for development and shipping.
• Support in SMS, Photoshoot, and TOP tracking across all classes.
• Manage on-time reporting for all classes with Production team support.
• Support in PD and Production projects as needed.
• Assist with daily system updates in Qlik, PLM, and WIP reports.
• Drive mail distribution to coordinators and support intake as needed.

Free People is looking for an Associate Coordinator, Production to support the apparel teams across the full product lifecycle — from initial sourcing, costing, and sample development through to freight, customs, and final delivery.

Role Responsibilities

• Vendor Communication: Maintain daily communication with global vendors, fabric mills, and agents to track production, secure sample yardage, and resolve issues
• Calendar Deadlines: Meet seasonal calendar milestones and maintain tracking/WIP (Work in Progress) reports for development and shipping
• Tracking: Support in SMS, Photoshoot, and TOP tracking across all classes
• Reporting: Manage on time report for all classes with support of Production team members
• Misc Project: Support in projects across PD and Production as needed
• System Management: Support in daily system updates in Qlik, PLM, and Wip reports
• Mail distribution: Drive mail distribution to coordinators and support submit intake as needed

Role Qualifications
