Transforming Age's Fred Lind Manor in Seattle, WA is seeking a Health Services Director to lead all healthcare personnel, oversee nursing services, and ensure high-quality resident care in our assisted living community.

The ideal candidate is a WA-licensed RN or LPN with at least two years of nursing experience, strong leadership and teaching skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; you will supervise medication administration, care plans, and

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington.
• Minimum of two years’ nursing experience.
• Experience in Assisted Living and Memory Care preferred.
• Excellent written and communication skills and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all healthcare personnel including hiring, training, evaluating and counseling.
• Oversees medication room, LPNs, Nursing Assistants, CMA, and Health Services staff.
• Plans, implements, supervises, and schedules nursing services.
• Responds to emergencies and maintains medical charting and required documentation.
• Assesses residents for changes in care level and coordinates billing for that level.
• Administers and coordinates medications and coordinates required transport.
• Develops and implements care plans with residents and families.
• Participates in on-call rotation and may supervise nurses and aides.

We are hiring a Health Services Director to join the team!

Our Health Services Director:

• Supervises all healthcare personnel to include hiring, training,evaluatingand counselingwithin established policies and procedures.
• Supervises medication room, the LPN,Nursing Assistant,Medication Assistant/CMA, and Health Services Associate.
• Plans, implements, supervises, and schedules nursing services.
• Provides intervention to respond to emergencies and problems.
• Maintains medical charting andrequireddocumentation underscopestate regulatoryguidelines forappropriate licensingand corporate policies.
• Assesses residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care.
• Administers and coordinates medications of residents, serve ascommunity’sRegistered Nurse,ordermedicationand refills.
• Works closely with residents and families to develop& implementappropriatecareplans.
• Assistsresidents in medical appointments and coordinate required transportation.
• Participates in rotation of on-call duty.
• On occasion, may supervise licensed nurses andnurse’saides.
• Promote the Mission,Visionand Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed!:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in state of Washington.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in Nursing.
• Experience in Assisted Living, MemoryCare is preferred..
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a consulting role on a regional and facility level.
• Strong leadership and teaching skills.
• Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite products.
