Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Fraud Architect to join our Fraud team. You’ll be embedded with a small portfolio of named users, turning complex fraud signals into practical prevention decisions and helping customers reduce fraud while enabling growth.

You’ll deepen Radar knowledge, explain evidence to non-technical stakeholders, and translate findings into better rules, thresholds, and integration guidance. The role emphasizes proactive, user-specific risk ownership.

• Own each user’s prevention strategy and risk baseline for every assigned account.
• Understand payment methods, integrations, billing flows, trial and promotion mechanics, existing controls, and risk preferences; identify the top risks and gaps across the full customer lifecycle.
• Develop and implement prevention plans, turning incident findings into actionable improvements to Radar rules, thresholds, and integration guidance.
