Job summary

Delta Group is seeking anexperienced Special Investigation Unit investigator. You will conduct timely investigations of workers’ compensation and other insurance claims, interview claimants and witnesses, and document findings with confidentiality and professionalism.

The role requires strong investigative skills, detail orientation, and the ability to interact with clients and insurance personnel. Proficiency with standard office software and independent work capability is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong investigative skills are essential and must be able to work independently.
• Detail orientation and careful documentation of case files are required.
• Ability to recognize patterns of inconsistencies linked to fraud is crucial.
• Must interact professionally with clients, repair shops, appraisers, and employers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication is expected.
• Good organization and time management skills are necessary.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely investigations including recorded statements and interviews of claimants, witnesses, and employers.
• Provide timely status updates to case manager and client.
• Timely and clear documentation of the claim files.
• Maintain highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Develop appropriate investigative action plan.
• Ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of evidence gathered during investigations.
