Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Safeguards Policy Analyst focused on Fraud & Scams within the Integrity & Authenticity (I&A) team. You will design enforcement workflows, develop threat models, and translate expertise into durable policies for Anthropic's products and APIs.

You will work as a policy owner and partner with threat investigation and enforcement teams, cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data science. This role involves exposure to sensitive content and evolving fraud threats.

Qualifications

• Experience shaping operational policies for fraud or abuse prevention at scale.
• Ability to translate policy into actionable classifier guidelines.
• Strong understanding of fraud typologies and threat actor tactics.

Responsibilities

• Draft, maintain, and iterate on fraud and scams policies for Anthropic's products and APIs.
• Design automated enforcement systems and human review workflows with high precision/recall.
• Coordinate with ML, data science, policy, and enforcement teams to tighten detection signals.
• Educate internal stakeholders on fraud risk and policy enforcement approaches.
