Job summary

Amazon is seeking a data-driven risk manager for the Selling Partner Identity Verification team in Seattle. You will own gap-prevention initiatives, run risk analyses with SQL/Python, and collaborate with operations, product, risk, tech, and science teams to curb abuse.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in compliance or risk management, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication. You’ll translate insights into concrete mitigations, monitor outcomes, and influence partners to implement durable

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Complete risk analyses using complex data sets (SQL, Python, R etc.).
• Own our most complex risk mitigation and prevention initiatives.
• Identify gaps and risks in Amazon's current mechanisms and policies and recommend solutions to product/policy owning teams.
• Use data and/or technical skills to discover new ways to scale risk signals.
• Break problems into manageable pieces, prioritizing and delivering results in a changing environment.
• Conduct large-scale deep dives to derive insights about abuse and risk in systems and policies.
• Communicate detailed technical knowledge to engineering, legal, and product teams.
