Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Fraud Risk Assessment Consultant to support the DHA VHA in building a high-visibility Fraud Rapid Response Center. You will identify fraud vulnerabilities, assess internal controls, perform risk analyses, and craft actionable recommendations to strengthen fraud prevention and monitoring across VHA programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, active Public Trust Clearance, and 3–5+ years’ experience in fraud risk or FWA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active Public Trust Clearance required or ability to obtain.
• 3–5+ years in fraud risk assessments or FWA initiatives.
• Experience with risk frameworks (GAO, COSO, Green Book) and internal controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to facilitate stakeholder interviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fraud risk assessments across VHA programs and prioritize vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate inherent and residual risk and document findings.
• Support control testing and recommend improvements for program integrity.
• Develop risk dashboards, summaries, and leadership briefings.
