Job summary

Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Dallas, Texas seeks an Associate, Risk Governance to strengthen fraud detection capabilities through advanced data analytics. You will help design and optimize risk models, rules, and reporting, collaborating with engineering and operations to deploy fraud strategies.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, and machine learning techniques to identify fraud across ACH, wires, real time payments, and deposits.

Qualifications

Masters or Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, IT and Management or related field.
Minimum 1 year (with Master's) or 2 years (with Bachelor's) in fraud analytics or related area.
Experience using data analytics tools to design fraud detection strategies and derive insights.

Responsibilities

Improve fraud detection performance using advanced data analytics and ML techniques.
Support the execution of fraud analytics, risk models, rules, and reporting.
Collaborate with engineering and operations to deploy fraud strategies and capabilities.
Maintain awareness of regulatory expectations and emerging threats in fraud risk management.
