Adobe is seeking a security-focused engineer to perform adversarial testing on externally facing products, APIs, and fraud controls. You will simulate real-world attacks, build automated testing tools in Python, and craft scenarios across identity, payments, and API interactions to strengthen defenses.

Qualifications

  • Strong software engineering or technical automation skills with Python or a similar language.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, HTTP, authentication, web apps, automation frameworks, and modern cloud systems.
  • Experience building scripts or automated workflows to test complex systems and behaviors.
  • Must have: Python, APIs/HTTP, automation, debugging, Git, data/SQL, and ability to interpret product architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct adversarial testing of Adobe’s products, services, APIs, and fraud controls to identify exploitable weaknesses.
  • Recreate real-world fraud and abuse attacks to map attack paths and defense gaps.
  • Design and build automated testing tools using Python to simulate fraud at scale.
  • Develop test scenarios across account creation, identity, payments, entitlements, APIs, and user journeys.
  • Test and improve fraud prevention measures and retest mitigations to close attack paths.
