Job summary

Bank First in Beloit, WI is seeking a VP - Fraud Prevention Manager to lead strategic and operational efforts to prevent fraud and protect customers. You will oversee fraud investigations, loss mitigation, and detection systems, partnering with Compliance, Legal, and business lines to ensure effective risk management.

You will coach a high-performing team, develop policies, and deliver regular executive dashboards with loss data and trends to strengthen defenses and compliance across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related field acceptable.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of fraud prevention, investigations, or financial crimes experience.
• Leadership or management experience preferred.
• AAP designation preferred; other certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of fraud regulations, payment systems, and investigation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Fraud Prevention Department.
• Coach and mentor team members; support succession planning.
• Develop, implement, and maintain fraud policies and controls.
• Ensure compliance with NACHA Rules, Reg E, Reg CC, BSA, and related guidance.
• Monitor fraud trends and optimize detection tools and processes.
• Oversee investigations and collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk Management.
