Job summary

Zepz is seeking a Director of Data Science & Engineering for Fraud Platform to lead a large, multi-disciplinary team responsible for data generation, quality, and production ML for fraud and financial crime. You will own end-to-end data strategy, model development, deployment, and monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with engineering leaders to ensure scalable, reliable platforms and drive data governance, quality, and collaboration across Identity and Financial Crime

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a data organization (15–25 people)
• Experience leading mixed teams: Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Analytics Engineers
• Demonstrated ownership of data quality at scale (contracts, observability, lineage)
• Production ML with monitoring, drift detection, retraining
• Strong collaboration with Engineering and Product leaders

Responsibilities

• Own data definition, generation, quality, and consumption across Identity and Financial Crime domains
• Lead models/analytics for fraud and financial crime with deployment and monitoring
• Manage a cross-disciplinary team with multiple career paths
• Partner with central data function and Engineering Manager to align data products
• Set data product standards and drive domain data ownership
