BCM One is seeking a Fraud Operations Specialist to join our growing Ecommerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the security and integrity of our telecommunications products and services, with a focus on call routing and SIP trunking.

As a Fraud Operations Specialist, you will proactively monitor, analyze, and mitigate potentially fraudulent activities throughout the presales and service delivery process. You will identify unusual patterns, investigate incidents, and implement effective solutions to reduce and prevent telecom fraud.

Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, sharp pattern recognition, and a solid understanding of telecom networks and services. You will also lead key initiatives and collaborate across teams to ensure we protect our customers and maintain their trust while minimizing potential losses.

Work Locations:

This is a hybrid position with the ability to be based out of one of the following office locations: Grand Rapids, Michigan, Herndon, Virginia, Alpharetta, Georgia, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, or New York, New York. This position must live and be authorized to work in the United States; it is not eligible for relocation or sponsorship.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor and analyze customer call data to detect any unusual patterns or behaviors.
  • Conduct detailed investigation of fraud incidents, including root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans.
  • Develop and improve fraud detection algorithms and processes.
  • Liaise with different teams within the organization, including network engineers, customer service personnel, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Prepare and present reports on fraud trends, losses, and actions taken.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in fraud management in a telecom environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of telecom networks and call routing.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
