Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Fraud Investigator to join our team. This full-time, remote position can be based in Salt Lake City, Utah; Las Vegas, Nevada; or Phoenix, Arizona.

What You’ll Do
  1. Conduct financial crimes investigations of external and customer activity.
  2. Write clear and concise reports accurately and promptly.
  3. Communicate with branch and department managers, BSA Officers, and frontline groups during investigations.
  4. Make recommendations regarding account relationships and escalate risks as necessary.
  5. Utilize various bank systems for research, including case management systems.
  6. Stay current on fraud and BSA/AML investigative procedures and training requirements.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant investigative experience; financial crime investigation experience preferred.
  2. Relevant professional certifications such as ACAMS, ACFE, or ACFCS are a plus.
  3. Basic knowledge of fraud detection, prevention principles, and BSA/AML compliance.
  4. Understanding of complex financial transactions and business relationships.
  5. Knowledge of bank operations related to fund flows.
  6. Awareness of red flags for fraud, AML, and terrorist financing.
  7. Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
  8. Strong analytical, customer service, and communication skills.
  9. Detail-oriented with high accuracy and organizational skills.
  10. Proficiency in MS Excel and Word preferred.

This position offers an annual salary range of $44,625 to $65,450, depending on experience and location.
