Job summary

The W. R. Berkley Corporation is seeking an experienced SIU Manager to lead our anti-fraud efforts across commercial and personal lines. You will supervise a team of investigators and support staff, oversee complex cases, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, KPI monitoring, collaboration with claims, underwriting, and law enforcement partners, and reporting to SIU leadership. Occasional travel up to 20% required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in insurance fraud investigations with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial and personal insurance products and claims processes.
• Designations such as FCLS, CIFI, CFE, CPCU, or AIC are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead SIU investigators and support specialists to high performance and professional development.
• Oversee the intake, triage, and assignment of suspected fraudulent claims.
• Ensure investigative activities comply with legal standards, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Review and approve investigative reports and referrals to law enforcement or regulators.
• Develop and monitor a QA program to evaluate investigation quality and regulatory compliance.
