Job summary

Contact Government Services, LLC seeks an Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting support for fraud investigations involving complex transactions and organizations attempting evasion. The role requires drafting guidelines, cross-functional communication, and proficiency with various accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or related field.
• Minimum three years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination, or data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for required background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and audit a variety of accounting systems.
• Analyze, organize, and present data such as bank records, healthcare claims, tax records, and other documents.
• Assist with planning investigations and analyses to identify witnesses and relevant documents.
• Prepare concise reports and charts of analysis results.
• Assist with conferences and interviews of financial institutions and witnesses.
• Utilize electronic databases to identify assets, documents, and evidence.
• Assess ability to pay monetary penalties based on disclosures and assets.
• Draft technical audit guidelines and instructions for financial audits and investigations.
• Prepare interim and final investigation reports.
• Arrange secure storage and indexing of voluminous documentary evidence.
• Create charts, graphs, and visuals for motions and at trial.
• Meet with federal/state personnel as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned within scope.
