Job summary

HUMAN Security is seeking an Analyst to join the Threat Research team. You will manage the full cycle of fraud fighting from exploratory research to developing statistical detection techniques for detecting bot traffic and fraud across ad ecosystems.

Responsibilities include deploying mitigations, building complex data analyses, and collaborating with Product and Engineering to ship customer-facing features. You will work with SQL-heavy workflows, Python, and AdTech data across large datasets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency at writing performant SQL, bonus for Snowflake, with experience handling large datasets.
• Python experience or exposure preferred.
• AdTech experience or exposure preferred.
• Experience improving data processes and tooling to speed analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify novel methodologies to detect invalid and bot traffic.
• Deploy stop-gap mitigations for emerging threats with speed.
• Perform statistical analysis of supply chain data, network signals, and fraud actor behavior.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver customer-facing features.
• Build complex queries and notebooks for historical data analysis.
• Triages customer and internal inquiries about fraud efficacy.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal tooling and mitigation processes.
• Document research, analyses, and mitigations for auditability.
• Experiment with new methods and tooling to identify threats.
