Job summary

United Community in Greenville, SC is seeking a Fraud Data & Technology Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making through analytics, reporting, technology support, and rule optimization. The role collaborates with leadership and partners across Fraud Operations, Risk, Compliance, IT, and business teams to strengthen detection and customer protection.

Location includes Greenville, SC and Blairsville, GA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in fraud analytics, fraud technology or operations, risk management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with fraud and/or banking platforms.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience querying and analyzing large datasets using SQL or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of fraud typologies across payments, digital identity, account takeover, and application fraud.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build, automate, and maintain fraud KPIs, dashboards, and reports to measure program performance and trends.
  • Analyze fraud data and translate findings into actionable insights for leadership and frontline teams.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and support fraud strategy and continuous improvement.
  • Support administration, maintenance, and optimization of fraud-related applications and tools.
  • Tune and optimize fraud detection rules, models, and decisioning strategies.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality for fraud reporting and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and automate fraud controls.
