Job summary

Praescient Analytics is seeking multiple Data Scientists to support fraud analytics and investigative initiatives for a federal oversight organization. These roles will develop, test, validate, and deploy analytical solutions that help identify fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement across large-scale government programs.

Remote work with occasional travel; you will collaborate with Data Engineers to prepare data, build predictive models, and produce dashboards and reports to support

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional data science or analytics experience.
• Experience with fraud analytics and program integrity.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience modelling with structured and unstructured data.
• Experience documenting methodologies and findings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, validate, and maintain fraud analytics solutions.
• Design rules to identify fraud indicators and anomalies.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering.
• Collaborate with data engineers to prepare data for analytics.
• Produce dashboards and reports for investigative decisions.
• Document methodologies and validation results.
• Participate in Agile sprints and model iteration.
