Job summary

PNC is seeking a Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Specialist (Fraud Model Analyst) to join its Technology organization. Based in Birmingham, AL, you will leverage Python, R, SQL and statistical modeling to analyze portfolios, assess risk, and guide acquisition and lending decisions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design tests, develop reporting, and monitor performance, with responsibilities spanning data analysis, model development, and governance to support responsible growth.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL; SAS is a plus.
• Experience with statistical modeling and validation.
• Experience in data science, statistics and data analytics.
• Familiarity with graph databases and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and regulatory reporting analyses and develop analytical methods to assess risk of financial products.
• Analyze large datasets to improve risk-adjusted returns and communicate findings to support decision-making.
• Apply predictive models and external data to guide portfolio strategy and risk monitoring.
• Collaborate with business, credit, data and model development teams to design tests and reporting.
