Job summary

MidFirst Bank is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Financial Crimes department in detecting and reporting illicit activity. You will develop Tableau dashboards, write SQL reports, and validate data across teams to enable proactive investigations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data quality, and automation of manual processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 2+ years in data analytics, strong SQL skills, and experience with Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Two or more years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and data validation.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to explain findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in creating data visualizations and dashboards, preferably using Tableau.
• Proficient SQL development skills, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or newer.
• Proficient in preparing, cleansing, and transforming data for reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
• Provide timely and professional support to the department.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards.
• Write SQL queries used for reporting, analysis, and data validation.
• Research and resolve data quality, reporting, and system issues.
• Document business rules, data definitions, processes, and reporting logic.
