Job summary

CGS seeks a Fraud Analyst to provide financial, forensic, and investigative support to government attorneys in the investigation and litigation of civil and criminal fraud matters in Omaha. The role analyzes claims data, conducts audits, and develops damages assessments to support investigations, prosecutions, settlements, and recoveries.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with auditing experience, strong financial analysis skills, and the ability to handle confidential information in a government

Qualifications

• Must be CPA.
• MBA or equivalent in accounting or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an auditor.
• Minimum 2 years specialized experience in Medicare billing/claims or DoD inventory systems.
• Working knowledge of ADP systems and applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in a litigation environment; automated litigation support helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial, forensic, and investigative support to government attorneys.
• Analyze medical claims data and conduct forensic audits.
• Develop damages assessments and prepare reports/evidence for investigations and prosecutions.
• Review complex data sets (CMS claims, PPP loan data) for fraud detection.
• Identify outliers and anomalies in health care claim codes.
• Prepare expert reports and participate in negotiations when required.
