Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Fraud Analyst to support our BSA/AML team and mitigate financial crime risks. You will investigate fraud, perform CDD/EDD, and collaborate with Engineering to enhance risk controls.

This full-time role requires a Saturday–Wednesday schedule, with in-office attendance Monday–Wednesday at Palo Alto or NYC offices and remote work on weekends. The role emphasizes monitoring, due diligence, and policy updates, with opportunities to contribute to audits and regulatory

Qualifications

• 2+ years in fraud investigation or risk management in financial services/fintech.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC sanctions, and related frameworks.
• Experience with transaction monitoring systems and fraud detection tools.
• Strong data interpretation and pattern recognition for fraud.
• Clear investigative narratives and regulatory filing writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and elevate fraud/money-laundering alerts using monitoring systems.
• Review customer activity and transaction patterns to identify red flags.
• Perform CDD/EDD and ongoing monitoring reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering and leadership to investigate complex cases.
• Document investigations, findings, and decisions for audits/regulatory exams.
• Assist in developing, testing, and tuning monitoring rules and scenarios.
• Stay updated on emerging fraud typologies and AML regulations.
• Support audits, regulatory exams, and independent reviews of BSA/AML program.
• Provide training on fraud/AML red flags to staff as needed.
