Job summary

University of Denver is seeking an Assistant Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life to provide operational leadership for FSL within a broad leadership and engagement department. You will advise governing councils, supervise staff, and lead education, training, and community service initiatives with a values-based, inclusive approach.

The role reports to the Director of Student Leadership & Service and supports developmentally-focused experiences across campus while aligning FSL with the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Leadership Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in fraternity and sorority life or related student affairs areas.
• Experience advising fraternities and sororities, governing councils, or large student organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Fraternity & Sorority Life community, overseeing chapter and council operations, recruitment, standards, and long-term strategic planning.
• Advise FSL governing councils and leaders while leading leadership development, education, and training.
• Lead risk management, behavioral accountability, and crisis response with campus partners and support incident response and policy education.
• Supervise professional and graduate staff; manage budgets, assessment, data reporting, and onboarding/training.
• Collaborate across the department to align FSL with student employment, peer mentorship, and community service initiatives.
