Job summary

Provides effective face-to-face instruction in assigned undergraduate courses on a part-time, temporary basis. Responsible for fulfilling and sustaining the duties and functions specified by established appointment and promotion criteria, including teaching and service to the school and community. @CB

Construct classroom materials that support the goals of the course

Prepare thoroughly for each instructional hour; Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner

Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance, post grades in a timely manner

Teaching

Implements curricular and instructional interventions

Utilizes peer review and coaching

Applies what has been learned from formative and summative feedback on instruction

Engages in professional development activities to promote development in the scholarship of teaching and learning

Advising

Reflects on summative students’ evaluation of academic advising experience

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

• At least one (1) year of teaching experience, preferred

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing plus 18 hours of Graduate credit in a related field;
• Master’s Degree in Nursing, preferred
