Job summary

Summit Building Services in Knoxville is seeking a Franchise Owner to operate a local cleaning franchise on-site. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, quality control, and compliance with LEED-aligned green cleaning practices.

You will develop local sales strategies, build client relationships, recruit and train staff, manage budgets, and report to the corporate team while upholding Summit’s Service First mission.

Qualifications

• Franchise or small business ownership experience.
• Strong training and team development skills.
• Proven sales and local business development track record.
• Experience recruiting staff.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning, facilities management, or related service industries.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Financial acumen including budgeting and cost control.
• High integrity and commitment to health, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Ability to work on-site in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area and meet local licensing requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a local cleaning franchise, including staffing, scheduling, quality control, and compliance with company standards and LEED-aligned practices.
• Develop local sales strategies to grow the client base and present tailored cleaning solutions to prospective and existing clients.
• Recruit, train, and supervise team members; monitor performance and safety protocols.
• Manage budgets and financial reporting; collaborate with the corporate team to implement the Service First mission.
