Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join our Franchise & Distribution Practice in multiple offices including Chicago. The role focuses on franchising, licensing and distribution matters with exposure to complex transactions.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage significant responsibility in a fast-paced environment. Excellent compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and/or licensing matters.
• Franchise experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and ability to handle responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated transactional matters in franchise and distribution law.
• Support development of franchise programs, regulatory compliance, and commercial agreements.
• Assist with international expansion strategies and franchise-related mergers & acquisitions.
