Role Overview:
As a Franchise Business Consultant, you will be responsible for strategically guiding and supporting franchisees in their day-to-day operations. This includes coaching on financial performance, operational efficiency, compliance standards, and marketing strategies. Your role will ensure that franchisees meet their business goals while upholding the company’s core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Franchisee Support & Coaching: Provide tailored coaching to drive franchisee success in areas such as situational leadership, financial management, and operational performance. Help franchisees align their business strategies with growth initiatives like local marketing and community engagement. Hold regular meetings with franchisees to review performance, address challenges, and plan for growth. This includes bi-weekly for new franchisees, monthly, quarterly, and annual sessions.
- Onboarding & Training: Implement and enhance a 90-day onboarding program, equipping franchisees with industry-specific tools, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed. Offer ongoing training to support their growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Review P&L statements, optimize profit margins, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across sales, marketing, financial ratios, and production to drive revenue and efficiency. Partner with franchisees to ensure compliance with company standards and long-term financial stability.
- Compliance & Operational Excellence: Assist franchisees with adhering to brand standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct operational audits to assess and improve processes. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services across all franchise locations.
- Relationship Building: Build trust through regular check-ins, on-site visits, and open communication. Act as a bridge between franchisees and the corporate office to foster accountability, resolve challenges, and align on growth strategies.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing teams and franchisees to execute initiatives that boost local brand awareness and client acquisition through community involvement and targeted strategies.
- Leadership Development: Drive buy-in and vision for success by educating and motivating franchise owners, empowering them to develop and lead their teams effectively. Facilitate workshops, roundtables, and annual conferences on topics like industry trends and best practices.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records, performance metrics, compliance reports, and other franchise-specific documentation to ensure accountability and transparency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a home service brand, supporting franchise operations, growth initiatives, and compliance standards.
- Proven success in providing strategic guidance and training to business owners.
- Demonstrated competency in financial analysis, including interpreting KPIs, P&L statements, budgets, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software, such as QuickBooks or similar.
- Outstanding coaching, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate franchisees while building rapport and aligning their goals with company objectives.
- Marketing expertise to help franchisees drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and achieve meaningful results in their local markets.
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Problem-solving expertise with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and implementing solutions.
Success Criteria:
- First 30 Days: Complete orientation, LMS training, and shadow key processes.
- Within 60 Days: Finalize LMS courses, initiate QuickBooks training, and join coaching roundtables.
- Within 90 Days: Build successful franchisee relationships, resolve issues as they arise, and ensure systems are accurate and up to date.
Salary range of up to $85,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Remote work with regional travel requirements (40-50%). West/Midwest Region
