Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring a Retail Framing Team Member in Birmingham, AL to help customers create custom framing solutions and provide excellent service.

You will assist shoppers in selecting frames, mats, and accessories, and complete framing orders with quality and efficiency. This part-time role requires basic computer and measuring skills, ability to operate framing equipment, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred and helpful for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and mats to fit their art and budget.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on-time delivery.
• Maintain the framing department and stock areas; support replenishment and cleanliness.
• Operate cash register and support Omni channel processes as needed.
