Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member in New Orleans to provide outstanding customer service, assist customers with framing needs, and support daily in-store operations. The role involves handling framing orders, operating the cash register, and maintaining a well-stocked, welcoming store environment.

Candidates should have basic computer and measuring skills, experience with framing equipment, and a retail mindset.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas (SISO and Directed Replenishment).
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products while keeping store well merchandised and in-stock.
• Follow SOPs and company programs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact respectfully and promote the organization’s values as a role model.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking to follow standards within budget.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Acknowledge customers and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
