Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a team member for our Lansing, MI store to build customer relationships and provide custom framing solutions. You will help customers shop, locate products, and maintain a clean, well merchandised store environment. The role requires standing, lifting, and evening/weekend availability in a fast-paced retail setting.

Experience in retail and selling products is preferred. The position includes opportunities to participate in Omni channel processes and to work

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders on time with quality.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and cash handling.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and stock levels.
• Provide friendly customer service and an in-stock store.
