Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Framing Field Supervisor in Rock Hill, SC to manage framing for single and multi-family homes per blueprints and contracts. You will ensure materials, codes, and safety standards are met while maintaining strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 3-4 yrs experience in residential or light commercial framing
• Ability to read blueprints
• Strong knowledge of building materials and tools
• Possess a strong work ethic and ability to work under time constraints
• Possess strong math skills
• Ability to follow directions both written and verbal
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems
• Knowledgeable in scheduling programs such as Builder Trend, Build Pro, Supply Pro.

Responsibilities

• Analyze jobsite prior to beginning to ensure quality construction.
• Review construction documents and understand material needs to build.
• Frame buildings according to blueprint.
• Create and support a safe work environment on the site.
• Coordinate with team to ensure material delivery and share plans with labor broker.
• Schedule deliveries according to the Construction Manager's schedule and ensure material delivery.
• Ensure framing complies with OSHA, Carter Lumber standards, and safety rules.
• Ensure project is completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure customers receive high quality workmanship.
• React to problems and complaints with patience and understanding.
• Acquire training to build product safely and efficiently.
• Become certified in installed products to provide best service.
