Job Overview:

Bill Lake Modular Homes is seeking a Framing Carpenter to join our expert modular construction team in Sprakers, NY. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for constructing the framing structures of our homes—assembling floors, walls, and trusses that form the backbone of our projects. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their carpentry career with a company that values craftsmanship, integrity, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  1. Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to plan framing layouts.
  2. Measure, mark, cut, and assemble lumber using hand and pneumatic tools.
  3. Frame floor systems, walls, and roof trusses accurately to specifications.
  4. Erect structures safely and efficiently.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot issues based on framing design.
  6. Maintain quality craftsmanship and follow construction best practices.
  7. Collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of carpentry or construction experience (preferred but not required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Strong work ethic, reliable attendance
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights using ladders or scaffolding
  • Valid driver's license (preferred)
  • Personal hand tools (preferred)
