Job summary

QXO is seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. You will construct wood framing, lay out components from blueprints, and collaborate with crews to meet project timelines. Strong focus on safety and quality craftsmanship is essential on active job sites.

The role requires reliability, the ability to read drawings, and experience with framing tools. A high school diploma and 2+ years of framing experience are preferred, with OSHA 10/30 certification a plus and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Requires strong framing experience and knowledge of residential or commercial framing techniques.
• Must be able to lift and carry building materials up to 75 pounds and work on active construction sites.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred; valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, and install wood framing systems according to blueprints and project specs.
• Frame walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components.
• Measure, mark, cut, and install lumber accurately; verify dimensions throughout the process.
• Read blueprints, follow project specs, and communicate questions to supervisors.
• Operate hand and power tools safely; inspect tools and report issues.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials, maintain clean, organized jobsites, and support other construction activities.
