Sunbelt Modular, Inc. is seeking a Framer – Walls to construct and install wall framing systems for modular structures in Leesburg, FL. You will ensure walls are aligned, sound, and built to blueprints and codes.

Responsibilities include measuring and assembling studs, reading blueprints, laying out walls, and installing sheathing. The role requires significant physical activity and adherence to safety guidelines on a daily basis.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–10 years of relevant construction experience required.
• Previous construction experience is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Measure, cut, and assemble wall studs, plates and headers as per plans.
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts and drawings.
• Layout wall sections including door and window openings.
• Erect and secure wall frames with proper bracing.
• Install sheathing and other structural components as needed.
• Inspect framing for accuracy, quality and code compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.

Position Objective:

The Framer – Walls is responsible for constructing and installing wall framing systems for modular structures. This role ensures walls are properly aligned, structurally sound, and built in accordance with blueprints, building codes, and project specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble wall studs, plates, and headers
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings
• Layout wall sections, including door and window openings
• Erect and secure wall frames, ensuring proper alignment and bracing
• Install sheathing and other structural components as required
• Inspect framing work for accuracy, quality, and code compliance
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum of Five (5) to Ten (10) years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in construction

Job Requirements:

• This position requires significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing throughout the workday. The role involves lifting and positioning heavy materials, working at heights or on uneven surfaces, and using hand and power tools. Exposure to outdoor elements, noise, and dust is common, and strong stamina, balance, and coordination are essential.
