Job summary

Solomon Page is hiring a Product Development Coordinator in NYC to support the creation and timely execution of fragrance and beauty prototypes. The role includes coordinating prototypes, tracking timelines, and serving as the main contact with vendors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has a design-focused background, 3–5 years in product development, and proficiency with SAP, Canva, Excel, and PowerPoint, with fragrance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of product design/development experience.
• Experience with SAP, Canva, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to be agile as duties vary.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of prototype products.
• Monitor overall development process for the product line.
• Act as point person on development details with vendor partners.
• Create and update seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
• Coordinate weekly updates to ensure composites are used as timely communications with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising.
• Track development to ensure execution within timeframes.
• Communicate design development details.

• Individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of prototype products.
• Monitors overall development process for product line.
• Acts as point person on development details with vendor partners.
• Creates and updates seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
• Coordinates work flow of weekly updates to ensure composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical and merchandising.
• Tracks development to assure execution is within timeframes.
