Job summary

SEA, Ltd. is seeking candidates for our Candle Testing Lab in Columbus, OH to join a temporary-to-permanent, full-time role at 10 hours per day, four days per week. The position pays $19 per hour and requires strong attention to detail in a high fragrance environment.

The role involves handling test samples, setting up tests, documenting results, and maintaining lab cleanliness. Must lift 50 lbs, stand long hours, and work in a non-remote, in-lab setting.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, observation, written and verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Access.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Un-boxes, weighs and logs product test samples as they arrive.
• Performs sample setup in testing lab.
• Tests, observes and documents test samples per protocols.
• Maintains lab cleanliness (wax, HVAC filters, burn surfaces).
• Analyzes soot collection targets and conducts flash-point testing.
• Photographs and catalogs/disposes of test samples.
